Can I start if I have no martial arts experience?

Yes. No experience is required. In beginner classes, we explain everything from the basics and introduce new elements gradually.

I’m not very fit — will I be able to keep up?

Yes. You don’t need to be fit to start training. Fitness develops with regular practice, and you can adjust the intensity to suit your abilities.

I’m 30, 35, 40 or older — is it too late to start?

Absolutely not. People of different ages and skill levels train with us. You don’t have to be a young competitor to benefit from training.

What is the first session like?

You’ll start by meeting the coach and the group and getting to know the club. Then we’ll guide you through the basics. You don’t need any prior skills — we’ll teach you from the beginning.

Can I train recreationally without competing?

Of course. Competitions are optional. You can train for your health, fitness, skills, and the friendly atmosphere.

When will I start seeing results?

You may notice the first changes after just a few weeks of regular training. You’ll improve your fitness and coordination and learn your first basic techniques. Over time, you’ll develop a better feel for sparring and become more confident working with a partner. Further progress depends on consistency.

Do I need my own equipment?

Not for your first sessions. The equipment you need may vary depending on the discipline and level. After your first session, the coach will explain what you need.

What is a child’s first session like?

The first session is mainly about getting to know the group, the coach, and the class rules. Your child takes part in age-appropriate games and exercises, with the coach helping them gradually join in.

Can a parent watch the first session?

Yes, a parent can watch the first session. Please stay off the mat, avoid talking to your child, and let the coach lead the class without interruption. You can share any comments or questions with the coaches afterwards.

Are classes safe for children?

Safety is our priority. Classes are adapted to the children’s age, level, and abilities. Coaches make sure exercises are appropriate and that the rules on the mat are followed.

Does children’s Kickboxing include strikes to the head?

No. Children learn Kickboxing basics through technical drills, pad work, movement activities, and controlled partner exercises. Strikes below the head are allowed in partner exercises, but strikes to the head are not part of children’s training.
